Supporting Our Veterans

Statement

Congressman Steve Scalise (R-La.) released the following statement on the nine veterans bills passed in the House:

"Our veterans deserve all of the thanks and appreciation our grateful nation can give for their selfless service to our country. While we can never fully repay them for the enormous sacrifices they have made, I'm pleased that Congress took several important steps to improve our veterans' access to healthcare and mental health programs, and increase education and job training opportunities."
